The package consists of two software programs:
FontView can show all installed fonts in one window. It makes it possible to see which fonts look the same and could be erased.
All fonts in Windows take up memory and disk space, and there is no reason to have the same font installed under different names..
CharMap can show all characters in a font and copy characters to the clipboard, just as the character map program supplied with Windows.
The difference is that in this program you can also adjust the size of the characters displayed so that you can actually see them.
The characters displayed in Windows Character map are sometimes too small for distinguishing details.
