The Graph Extract application was developed to be a free Windows program that enables you to extract the underlying data from a graph. The graph can be loaded as a bitmap or scanned directly from hardcopy from within the program. The program will accomodate linear, log-linear and log-log plots, and will work with scatter plots, line plots or barcharts. Data can be extracted manually, or by an automated process for linear plots or certain scatter plots with large amounts of data. The data can be viewed in tabular or graphical form, and saved to an Excel file for further analysis.Graph Extract is a program for digitizing plots. Using either manual or automated approaches, this program provides a means to easily extract numeric data from plots. The resulting X-Y data can be printed or replotted, or it can be saved in Excel file format for further processing. Graph Extract does not modify the Registry and does not require an installation program. Simply create a directory and copy the .exe and support files into it. To remove the program from your system, simply delete it.
