Acid-Base Titration provides a laboratory like experience to the user. The standard pipette and beaker are pictured. As the sample drips into the beaker, the indicator in the beaker changes color at the neutralization point. Normlity and volume of different bases are given. The volume of the acid is determined, and the student uses the standard
N1 x V1 = N2 x V2
equation to determine the normality of the sample.
There are three phases to the program: (1) Learning the technique (2) practicing the technique and (3) dealing with unknowns.
