The LIST application was designed to be a powerful version of the TYPE command you find with DOS, added with pause key to easily read a document without using MORE and wildcards filenames to open more files at time.
Syntax: LIST [d:][pathname][filename.ext]
Filename and Ext can be * e ?
- SPACE to pause/continue listing
- ESC to end listing
- SPACE and then ESC for next file
