Nova for Windows descriptionAn application that can easily track satellites.Nova for Windows is an innovative satellite tracking program for use by beginners and professionals alike. Its features are limited only by your requirements and your computer's memory. Nova for Windows can track an unlimited number of satellites from an unlimited number of observers simultaneously. Tracking data may be presented in text format, on realistically-colored maps, or both.
Nova for Windows is organized around "Views," each one of which is entirely independent from the others. You can have as many Views as you want. Each View can track an unlimited number of satellites from an unlimited number of
observer locations. Double-clicking on the Nova "desktop" will start a new View using the current default configuration of map, text, satellites, and observers.
Right-clicking within Views, Utilities, etc. brings a pop-up menu for configuration of that item. Within the View Customizer you can right-click to further customize the maps, satellites, and observers. Use the Default button to set the global default (which is used when
you launch a new View).
Auto-tracking is controlled by the small AutoTracking Status Box. Tell Nova what sort of antenna tracking interface you have by using the Setup/Antenna rotator menu. Change the satellite being AutoTracked by clicking on its name within any of the Views. To activate AutoTracking, click on the top left cell in
the Status Box.
