ShutDown is a tool that let's you program when your computer will shutdown.
ShutDown does not eat memory of your computer. Every time it releases memory it doesn't need, so you will not come across the problem, when your computer doesn't breathe because of lack of memory.
ShutDown does not use registry. It does not slow your computer and operating system down, saving huge amount of registry keys and other useless information in the registry. You can easily uninstall ShutDown, just deleting the folder where ShutDown is installed.
After you've installed your program, run it. Now look at your tray (lower right corner of your screen). You should see ShutDown icon there. Move the mouse cursor to it and click right button of your mouse. You see ShutDown menu now.
With the help of ShutDown, you can make the following actions with your computer:
· Turning your computer off
· Rebooting
· Turning sleep mode on
· Hibernating (Windows 2000/XP only)
· Logging current user off
· Screensaver enabling
All this can be done in ONE click. Just point the cursor on the desired position and click it. If you want to exit the program, click 'Exit' in the very bottom of the menu.
