Drag any file, shortcut or program onto the Launch Pad application and a Launch Pad button will be created for each one, click the button to start the program or call a file.
There's no limit to the amount of buttons that can be created, if you drag all of your website files onto the Launch Pad you can view them with a click of a button.
Drag one or more program/file icons
onto the Launch Pad and it will create a Launch button for each icon dropped, you can then start a program or run a file directly from the Launch pad.
The only limit to the amount of buttons on the pad is your hard disk space, although the more you have the longer Launch Pad takes to initialize depending on your processor speed, ie 65 buttons on a 166 takes approximately 2 seconds to load.
You can even start your favorite programs using Launch Pad, find the program application in Windows Explorer and drag it onto the Launch Pad window, it will then create an association button for you, if you move or delete the file/program associated with Launch Pad it will automatically remove the button for you and up-date it's files accordingly.
Only files that have a default application can be used with Launch Pad, if you wish to use new file types you must associate the file with an application
