Tail4Win is a Windows port of the UNIX 'tail -f' command. It is used to monitor changes to files and display the changed lines in realtime.
Tail4win can be very usefull to monitor program log files - e.g. Apache's error.log and access.log. or IIS, Tomcat, Resin log files.
Here are some key features of "Tail4win":
· Watch multiple files at same time.
· Detect keyword matches and highlight occurences.
· Can monitor files of any size.
· Capture and display OutputDebugString / TRACE.
· List "recent files".
· Standard text search.
· Use command "Tail4win abc.txt" to open and monitor file "abc.txt".
· Mouse right click on file "abc.txt" to open and monitor.
