HDDriveMaid will greatly help you to sort your duplicated files and delete junk, clearing a valuable disk space on your drives. Manual sorting of a large ammount of files-clones takes a lot of time, so we have created a folder-tree-priority selection allowing you to sort hundreds of files in a few clicks.
You can select any combination of filetypes to be treated, such as Music (mp3,wma), Video (avi,mpg,mpeg,mov), documents (doc,rtf) and specify your own filetypes.
HDDriveMaid can find duplicated files by any combination of listed criteria: true byte-to-byte comparing, SmartCRC64, size, name, extension, and last modification date.
Only unsorted groups are displayed, so it's even more easier to you to manage them. Every file in list can be viewed, moved, copied and marked as [un]necessary. No files will be deleted until you go to Files To Be Deleted list, so you have no reason to worry about deleting something necessary.
Also HDDriveMaid can find junk and temporary files, left by an operating system and/or application programs, files unaccessed for last given period of time, empty folders and files with zero length. Erasing of temporary directories such as WindowsTemp (and user-specified) is included too.
