Mic (short for microphone) is a software application that will play audio files and capture sound from the microphone to be streamed over the Internet or LAN.
While its interface isn't amazing, it was a quick test program to verify my VoIP (voice over IP) module works.
This program uses Speex (http://www.speex.org) to encode and decode the audio. It's like the Ogg Vorbis of speech.
Here are some key features of "Mic":

· Requires only ~2KB/sec per client
